I’ve actually been watching your post ever since you first put it up on June 12th. But I figured you might have given up on your search, so I held back from reaching out. Then I saw you updated your profile on June 28th, and it told me you still haven’t given up. I could tell how serious you are about this. So I decided to finally message you, but while I was thinking about what to say, it somehow became July 1st.

I’m the type who observes people carefully before making a move. I like to imagine what someone is like from their icon, their writing, and their hobbies. I’ve been picturing you as a calm, sensitive, and curious person. I hope I’m right. As for me, I’m usually calm and easygoing.

There’s something I want to ask. Do you want to make a friend, or do you want a language exchange partner? For me, I want to make a friend.

And I have a suggestion. Translating directly between Japanese and Chinese often loses the real meaning. Since we’re both still learning English, how about we talk in English while also exchanging Japanese and Chinese? I think we could practice and grow together at the same level. I’d be happy if you’d be my partner to practice English with.
