Although this site offers us option for English and other languages , it is not good especialy for English leaners, unfortunately.
このサイトは日本語と中国語限定ではないですが、特に英語を学習したい人には残念ながら不向きだと思います。

Some guys select English as their mother tongue in their ad, however, they are definitely not native English speakers.
言語交換の投稿を見ていると、英語ネーティブではないのに母語として英語を表示している人がいます。

They just have studied in the US or lived in AU for a working holiday (lol)
「オーストラリアでＷＨしてました」「アメリカに留学経験があります」と言うだけです（笑）

Even if you do not mind whether native or non-native, such scammers are not worth to contact.
相手がネィティブかどうかにこだわらない場合でも、そんな嘘吐きに連絡する価値はないでしょう。

Spammers who send "I teach u English" messages to Japanese, ignoringwhat written in ad, "CN-JP excgange", exist also.
書き込みに「日中言語交換」と書いてあるのを完全無視して I can teach you Englishというメールを送ってくる人もいます。

Once I asked one of them why they offered me English lessons, but what shereplied was "You must appareciate for my kindness, you Japanese are bad at English, want to learn it, need to learn it".
一度「なぜ英語？」と訊いてみたのですが、返ってきた答えは「親切心に感謝の気持ちは無いのか、日本人は英語できないんだから学びたい、学ぶべきだろ？」との事でした。
