I like young people words, they always heard or seem weird but they make me fun. One of this year’s popular young people word is “Y2K”. It means “Year 2000 (two kilos)”. I wander who made this word. Anyway, these days young people find attractive the old days things, and focus on 2000s is Y2K. In that time, Amuro Namie, Hamasaki Ayumi or Morning Musume… there are many celebrates with specific fashioned style, like the long boots with thick shoe sole, Garu, rude socks, which are the socks with rude looks, and so on. They think it’s emotional or Kawaii because there are no fashions like these in these days. My mom said era always repeat again and again, but it’s not all the same. This time’s Y2K is also not as same as in that era. The younger just fun that kind of fashion after school or weekend, not usual school days. Now people all around the word can see the trend in any country. I want to know what is foreign younger’s trends. I herd many foreigners are interested in 70’s J-POP. But how about another things? If you know something what younger generations are interested in, please tell me!
